Speedo Apps

Post by PlyFly#14 » Sat Sep 12, 2015 2:19 am

There are a few free apps that I like. The first is called "Vidometer" and it tracks MPH, G-Forces and elevation and overlays this over video, which you can share. It must be used on landscape. The other apps I like are Speedometer by Stanislav Dvoychenko which tracks average speed, distance and max speed as well as current speed. You can keep a few Trips and name them which has been helpful. Then there's Speedometer by Tim O's Studios for just speedo. That one is very simple, and when your phone is mounted using the holder and bungee you can clearly see the numbers.

Another cool app is TrackAddict. It's what I use when I'm racing. It can record Speed, G-force, accel/deceleration, and records GPS data that you can view over a built in satellite image. The display isn't really great to see while you're driving, but it is really cool for comparing runs.
